Result
One quality plan holding three countries together: client in Germany, production in India, end customer in Australia.
The task
A mobile maintenance unit for an Australian end customer, built at a production site in India. I developed the project quality plan that brings the end customer’s requirements together with the manufacturing conditions on site, and checked on site that it was met.
What I did
- Quality plan based on the Australian end customer’s requirements and the production conditions in India
- Planning and conducting internal and external audits at the production site in India
- Regular checks and inspections at the production sites
- Review and assessment of suppliers and their components
- Non-conformance management up to delivery to the end customer
- Planning and coordination of all tests and acceptance inspections
- Communication between all project stakeholders, including the end customer
