On-time delivery of the ship was secured through focused interface management, supplier development and monitoring.

The task

Hundreds of trades meet in the hotel area of a cruise ship. I was responsible for this critical outfitting area and held the interface between shipyard, outfitting contractors and shipping line.

What I did

  • Interface management between shipyard, outfitters and shipping line
  • Task force management
  • Supplier development and last-minute expediting
  • Review of and input to contract negotiations with the outfitters
  • First point of contact for project management, engineering, management and client
